Contemplating a tour of the west. We are taking our truck/truck camper. Should we tow my car behind?
Would like to know if towing a car behind truck with a truck camper out west would be worth it for side trips/trips to town. Or would this just slow us down – cause more more concern as far as parking etc?

If you have the type of camper on the back of your truck that can easily be removed than do not tow a vehicle. The major concern here would be cost of fuel. Find a nice camp site and leave the camper while your out sight seeing. I take it the reason for the camper is to save on motel and hotel costs and therefore gasoline should be a major concern. Dropping the camper at camp sites would save you major money on fuel while your running around.
