Truck Camper Shells

I’m buying a used camper shell for my F150, but I need to get anchors for it. Where and how much are these?

I’m wondering if I have to buy brand new hardware so I can attach this camper shell to my truck. I didn’t see anything on Ebay. It’s a Leer shell for $450 without anchors. I’m trying to avoid a large expense just to attach the darn thing.

Can get them at any place that sells toppers. Not sure of prices. Shouldn’t be no more than $50 for a whole set. Catch is they are aluminum.

brand new hdwe would be the easiest to find for approx 20 us $ a set usually 4to a set …or if you have oodles of free time just simply go to a junk yard in the area..they have em. …so its either new from an r.v. center where they sell new toppers or the junk yard and they probably wont match, but who cares.

Don’t fret or sweet it, go to the Hardware store and get yourself 6 small 3 inch C – Clamps. You will wont to put a strip of some kind of weather stripping on the top of the bed rails.

Maybe I’m missing something, and perhaps the Leer shell uses some special anchoring system, but the shell on our pick-up is simply bolted directly onto the bed with six 40 cent bolts.
