Should I get a tonneau cover for my new truck?

By · Saturday, August 28th, 2010

In a few months probably April I was going to order my new truck. I am getting a Ford F150 (and don’t try to talk me out of it I am a Ford Guy). I was just build and pricing one on line and ford offers a hard cover for around $1500 they claim you can take it off in thirty minutes or less. or should I get a soft one ( how much are they?) or just leave the box open.

I bought a tonneau cover and it got burned up from the sun in one year. Sent it back every year and got a new one. Finally, sold the truck and never got a new one on my new one. Also, I would find the cover pulled up because someone wanted to steal something in it. It just attracted the wrong attention.
