Would it be illegal to replace the back window on my camper shell with aluminum diamond plate?

As long as I have mirrors on the side is it illegal to not have a rearview mirror? Or even if the cops can’t see in there?

All depends upon the local laws on this, as some states allow this kind of switch out, others if it came with see-thru , something see thru better go back, but you need to ask the local state police for the actual rules on this
But I think it wouldn’t be illegal as long as the diamond plate was dulled
the law in washington state says that as long as you have mirrors on both sides that allow proper veiw of the rear of the vehicle your good
The no window van has the same problem. So it would not be illegal. If you have the 2 side mirrors.
Just be prepared to be stopped more often due to the blocked window that you can not see out of.
Be sure your diamond plate will not have a real problem with the sun hitting off of it and blinding cars behind you.
Good luck.
no it shouldn’t matter on a trailer, really the back window on any vehicle doesn’t matter
